On the 9th of December, The ESC_Verse had no update, as Sarah was feeling most unwell, again. Thankfully Doc Brown showed up earlier, and we gunned it to 88. It’s lucky I know all of these time travellers really, isn’t it…? Yes, Sarah, indeed it is. You can tell I’m not well, I don’t usually answer, when I ask myself questions. So yea…today…yesterday…at some point in time…is gonna be a few vids of my favourite stand-up comedians, and their (sometimes) insane ramblings =) It’s sort of become a Sarah Christmas tradition to watch loads of stand-up DVDs at Christmas, and … Continue reading 31 days, 31 gifts// Trololololol-ing all the while…
Day 9. I’m not usually a big fan of the Wii, but I admit that there are some fun games for it. Fun games, such as HotD: Overkill – the perfect party game for Halloween! It’s played out like the dodgy B-horror films I love so much. It’s quirky, weird, disturbing, hilarious, fun – what more could you want from a video game? The crackle-y soundtrack, screen flickers, giant boobed nurse zombies…it’s just hilarious. The game has some very oddball characters/enemies. Seriously…some of them are pretty disgusting. Like ‘Mother’…yea…that was a damaging experience. Oh…Jasper too, another traumatising experience. Seriously, you’ve gotten … Continue reading Sar’s ShOcktober// House of the Dead: Overkill
I haven’t had an upsetting day, but I was a bit annoyed this morning, I really do hate being lied to. I’m straight with you, so be straight with me. But regardless, I’m feeling like my old self again – with a little help from ‘Mrs Brown’s Boys’. If you haven’t seen this show before, you’re missing out. It is absolutely brilliant! Even the actors can’t do their job properly, for laughing. Tonight’s episode was especially funny. The part where Agnes was singing: ‘There was a young sailor who sat on the dock, shaking and waving his big hairy…fist! He … Continue reading Mrs Brown’s Boys
Today, on this chilly New Year’s Eve, you’ll be adoring…Jensen Ackles! Mr Ackles is most well known as Dean ‘I’m Batman’ Winchester, from the amazing TV series, Supernatural. Jensen has also starred in Smallville (he originally auditioned for the role of Clark Kent, but Tom Welling was given the role instead), Dark Angel, Days of our Lives, and Dawson’s Creek – just to name a few of his TV roles. He’s also starred in a couple of films, my favourite being ‘Ten Inch Hero’, where he plays the role of Priestly – this is a really funny film, and Jensen’s … Continue reading 31 days, 31 gifts – Jensen Ackles Edition!
Today you’ll be enjoying the comedy stylings of…Mr Eddie Izzard! This man is amazing, he’s absolutely hilarious. His style of stand-up is improvisational/observational, he generally doesn’t work from a script, which results in his trademark ‘so, yea!’ when he needs to fill up a few seconds. I just think his style of comedy is brilliant, I’ve seen his stand-up routines hundreds of times – yet I still laugh every time. He’s just brilliant. I absolutely love how he talks about history, and religion – the whole God, who is James Mason, talking to Noah, who is Sean Connery…ar man, hilarious. … Continue reading 31 days, 31 gifts – Eddie Izzard Edition!
Seeing as today is Christmas day, I’ve decided to share one of my biggest obsessions – the TV series, Supernatural! I’ve been obsessed with the show since it first aired in September 2005. I just adore the characters of Sam & Dean, I love their bond – Jensen & Jared do an amazing job of portraying the brothers devotion to one another. The Supernatural fandom is huge, and I absolutely love being a part of it. The truth is, you either love or hate this amazing show, there is no middle ground. I just love how the show often references … Continue reading 31 days, 31 gifts – Supernatural Edition!
Warning – today’s post contains use of language (strong) – once in my description, and in some of the below panels. Please skip today’s post, if you think you might be offended by this. Today’s gift isn’t a ‘real’ person, per say. Today I give you…Johnny The Homicidal Maniac, but feel free to call him Nny. JTHM was created by Jhonen Vasquez (Invader Zim! Doomdoomdoom). Nny is pretty deranged, and very murderous. He’s very anti-social, and for the love of all that is holy…NEVER call him ‘wacky’. ;-p Johnny’s voices or…’room mates’ are – NailBunny, Nny bought a rabbit, fed it twice, then … Continue reading 31 days, 31 gifts – Johnny ‘Nny’ C.
